Mobiloitte took a holistic approach to reimagine Hungry Hut’s customer journey. Our development strategy combined intuitive UI/UX, robust backend systems, and integrated kitchen automation. We created a cross-platform mobile app and an advanced admin dashboard that consolidated order management, kitchen control, and real-time analytics. The design emphasized minimum taps per transaction, ensuring users could place, customize, and pay for their meals in seconds. Additionally, a QR-based dine-in system allowed customers to view digital menus, pre-order meals, and reserve tables without waiting in line an innovation that dramatically cut table wait times.

Engineering the Hungry Hut Digital Ecosystem

The Hungry Hut mobile app, built using React Native, supports dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders across multiple outlets. Customers can browse the full menu, customize items, and pay instantly using integrated gateways. The admin dashboard, built on ReactJS, provides centralized visibility across branches, allowing restaurant managers to monitor live orders, update menus, manage staff, and track earnings. The backend, powered by Node.js and Express, connects seamlessly to kitchen displays for real-time KOT generation and task management. The staff panel enables on-ground employees to track orders, update preparation statuses, and print tickets instantly. Combined, these systems created a fully digitized restaurant workflow. All services are hosted on AWS Cloud, with Firebase for push notifications, Google Maps API for delivery routing, and Razorpay / Stripe integrations for payments. Security was ensured with OAuth 2.0, SSL encryption, and JWT-based session management.
